In February this year, we chose Brooklyn based designer Ravi Raj and L.A.’s Mike Jozewicz as the winners of our Open Call that challenged artists, makers, and designers to create contemporary modular seating elements for 1014. Mike and Ravi collaborated on a chair that will be an integral part of our diverse program formats at 1014 Fifth Ave. in the - hopefully near - future.

The Open Call challenged artists, makers, and designers to create modular seating elements that intervene with the given traditional architecture of a townhouse yet respect its legacy and history.
