In February this year, we chose Brooklyn based designer Ravi Raj and L.A.’s Mike Jozewicz as the winners of our Open Call that challenged artists, makers, and designers to create contemporary modular seating elements for 1014. Mike and Ravi collaborated on a chair that will be an integral part of our diverse program formats at 1014 Fifth Ave. in the - hopefully near - future.

Today, we're thrilled to give you a sneak peek of the "1014 chair" that has just been tested and approved on-site. The contemporary look of this multifunctional piece intervenes with the turn-of-the-century architecture of our townhouse, yet respect its legacy and history. In our opinion, a real collector's item.
