On 18 May 2020, members of the 1014 board of directors came together for their annual board meeting. Headed by President and Chairman Andreas Fibig, the directors discussed the expansion of activities into the digital realm as well as the next steps in the refurbishment process of 1014 Fifth Avenue. Meeting virtually for the first time allowed the directors to tune in from a range of places like Vermont, Connecticut, Ratingen, and Aachen. The conference-format did not prevent the board from having a lively and engaged discussion; but members look forward to reconvening in person with face-to-face conversations that usually happen during their gatherings in Berlin or New York City.
